Manipulated stocks left the floor one by one

Once a stock in the VN30 basket made Mr. Trinh Van Quyet the richest man on the stock exchange, but up to now, the fate of the “family” of FLC codes is bleak, shareholders are struggling because the shares are in the stock manipulation case.

Currently, 3 codes FLC, ROS, HAI have had to leave the floor because of long-term violations that businesses did not fix. Stocks that are still trading like AMD, ART, KLF, the price dropped deeply, only 1,000 – 2,000 VND/share.

On the last trading day before being suspended, FLC stock closed at 3,570 VND/share. HAI closed at 1,580 VND/share. ROS left HoSE at 2,510 VND/share.

The floor price of “family” of FLC codes was only from a few thousand dong/share, like ART, which was offered at the floor price of 5,000 dong/share, then increased by a dozen times, becoming super speculative stocks.

ROS “pine tree” graph, also similar in many FLC family codes

With the market price that used to be among the highest on the stock exchange (187,000 dong/share), on September 5, ROS shares were delisted. Previously, ROS from 12,600 dong/share on the first trading day of listing jumped to 187,000 dong/share after adjustment in early 2017.

At that time, ROS entered the list of 10 enterprises with the largest market capitalization in Vietnam’s stock market. Besides investors who can “surf”, many foreign funds have also won big with ROS. ROS was also the code that was bought the most by foreign investors. Contrary to the glorious past, up to now, 38,000 ROS shareholders have suffered from frozen stock, just waiting for the day this code is traded on UPCoM.

With FLC, this stock also increased sharply at the time of listing, having peaked in March 2012 around the price of 26,570 VND/share. But from then on, FLC took another 10 years, after a series of dives, it returned to the old peak. Suspended from trading when the stock dropped deeply to 3,570 dong, FLC had a series of sessions of illiquidity and sell-off without buyers after the stock manipulation was exposed.

Similar to FLC, ROS, other stocks in the “family” of FLC are also trading poorly, the market price can’t stand a cup of iced tea. All shares related to Mr. Trinh Van Quyet – former chairman of FLC Group were handled for violations of information disclosure. Trading codes are in the warning area. Except for KLF, the remaining 6 codes in the “family” of FLC were identified in connection with the case of “Stock market manipulation”, which occurred at FLC Group JSC, BOS Securities JSC and related companies.

Louis group shares lose liquidity

After 5 months, the former leaders of Louis Holdings and Tri Viet Securities were arrested for manipulating securities. Louis stocks slipped, many stocks lost 50-60% in value. With the latest conclusion of the investigative agency on the securities manipulation case that occurred in the Louis group, the related stocks simultaneously fell deeply. Typically, TGG and BII are entering the 3rd consecutive session of hitting the floor price.

TGG, BII are entering the 3rd consecutive session of floor-down.

TGG (Louis Holdings JSC) at the close of September 21 session fell to the floor to 5,450 dong/share. Buyers were empty. At the end of the session, there were still nearly 950,000 shares remaining at the floor selling price. Since the Chairman’s arrest, TGG has dropped 67%.

Along with TGG, BII (Louis Land Joint Stock Company) was identified as 2 stocks that were manipulated in the incident that occurred at Tri Viet Securities JSC, Louis Holdings JSC and a number of related companies.

With BII, the stock price has been split in half (down more than 50%) since the time Mr. Nhan and his accomplices were arrested. At the end of today’s session, BII hit the floor price to 3,700 dong/share. Today is also the 2nd consecutive floor drop of this stock. In June, BII had a “bottom” of 2,700 dong/share.

At the end of 2020, the market price of TGG on the stock exchange is only around 1,200-1,400 VND/share. BII traded at the threshold of 2,000-3,000 dong. After returning to the “common home” of Louis, these two stocks and related codes were built in the shape of a “pine tree”, pulled up by shock, then fell deeply.

According to Viet Linh/Vanguard

[1
