Vietnam’s stock market opened the session on October 12, struggling around the reference level due to the negative sentiment in the previous session. However, the bottom-fishing cash flow quickly entered and brought the main index out of the safe zone and broke out. The uptrend became more exciting thanks to the exploding demand in most industry groups, especially pillar stocks.
The supporting force mainly comes from the Banking group, followed by Real Estate. This is considered a short-term improvement with the not-so-positive movements of these two groups recently.
The main driving force of the recovery came from banking codes when simultaneously racing in green and purple. Many stocks gained in full range such as LPB, STB, SHB, ACB, MBB, BIG, CTG, etc. Others also took advantage of the speed with a good gain margin of SGB (+4.88%), MSB (+ 4.83%, VPB (4.56%), TCB (3.33%), VCB (+3.23%),… At the same time, fresh green also covered securities, standing out. DSC, SHS, MBS, HCM, TVB, VIG, etc. increased by over 6%. Notably, FTS, VCI and SSI nearly hit the ceiling.
On the other hand, the uptrend in real estate group partly relieved investors’ sentiment compared to the time affected by less positive information, but still recorded the divergence in each stock. Names like PV2, HDG, KBC, NTL, NLG, NRC, etc. unanimously jumped up, submerged in the “purple” color. A series of stocks increased from 4% to more than 6% such as TIG, S99, HQC, DPG, DLG, GEX, DTD, CII, DXG, etc. Besides, the name that didn’t thrive was HDC when went against the market, down 6.91%.
Notably, VN30 stocks (+3.32%) with the consensus of most stocks in the group. The green color completely dominated the VN30 basket with 27 gainers, including 7 stocks that hit the ceiling. Highlights such as KDH, STB, ACB, HPG, MBB, CTG, BID, SSI, mainly focus on banking lines. However, VIC was the only stock that declined in blue-chips with a slight decrease of 0.83%.
On the other hand, the steel industry leader HPD’s dramatic increase to the ceiling spread green color to the steel group. Accordingly, SMC or HSG both increased brilliantly, TIS increased by 8.47%; VGS increased by 8.27%; NKG increased by 6.5%…
