After yesterday’s deep drop, positive sentiment led the market to reverse and gain. The excitement spread in the morning session helped VN-Index to break through 36 points at one point. However, the index dropped again when it was close to the resistance level of 1,080 points, causing the gaining momentum to narrow significantly at the end of the session. Market liquidity also improved when the trading value on HOSE reached 15,442 billion dong.
The group of large stocks is an important factor leading the uptrend of the market. The VN-30 index gained 15 points, of which there were 20 advancers, outnumbering the 9 decliners. The most prominent ones were STB and TCB when they increased in full range, making great contributions to the general market’s gaining momentum. Besides, PDR, GVR, TPB, VPB, etc. also gained well from over 5%, significantly supporting the market. On the other side, NVL was still a resistance to “hold” the index’s gain when it dropped to its full range.
Green color covered almost all banking codes today, only VCB dropped, KLB and BID stood at reference. EIB, STB and TCB occupied the wave when increasing in full amplitude, LPB, TPB, VPB, MBB also gained well from 4.9-6.2%.
Not missing the recovery of the market, the securities group “take advantage” to break through with more than half of the stocks in the group going purple. A series of prominent names such as MBS, VND, HCM, VCI, FTS are all “wearing purple”. CSI, BVS, PSI, and BSI were no less competitive when they simultaneously increased by over 6%.javascript:void(0)
After the fluttering beats, real estate stocks continued to race to the ceiling. Prominent names that hit the ceiling for a dozen sessions still called L14, CEO, ITA, and DIG. In the opposite direction, NVL and HPX continued to “land on the floor”.
Steel stocks also had a positive session when blue and purple prevailed. The focus was on HSG and NKG when the band increased, “big brother” HPG 3.6%. TLH, SMC, and TVN also simultaneously increased over 2%.
At the end of the session, VN-Index gained 9.51 points (+0.91%) to 1,050 points. HNX-Index increased by 5.44 points to 215 points and UPCoM-Index increased by 1.17 points to 71.62 points. Liquidity on HoSE still increased slightly compared to the previous session when reaching 15,450 billion dong.
